Founder’s Message
I was born in Kenya and lived in Nakuru for a huge part of my life before moving to Finland. Music has been a huge part of my life, ever since I was a little boy. I sang in church, participated in music competitions while in school, and was part of an award-winning acapella group. Before I started performing on big stages and different countries music was a passion and a talent, but I got enlightened on how broad and diverse the industry was, and as my music evolved, so did my purpose as it wasn’t just a passion anymore; it became my life’s mission.
I am on a mission to bridge the gap in the Kenyan music industry, where a huge percentage of music artists cannot read, interpret and execute musical instructions making it hard for them to work with international artists. Artists in Kenya also have a hard time when it comes to making a living with music and waste away living with their talents as hobbies.
Mziki Tours was born from a vision centered around empowerment and mentorship. My goal was to create a platform where international musicians can come to Kenya to support, empower and train local artists. Additionally, I aspire to fulfill the dreams of music lovers who wish to experience the beauty of Africa by visiting Kenya during this program. The tour offers a diverse range of thrilling activities such as adventurous outings, team-building exercises, and safaris, among other exciting experiences. My main objective is for them to experience Africa’s rich cultural heritage and foster a sense of unity by connecting hearts, cultures, and ideas. By doing so, I want to touch as many lives as possible, while amplifying amazing music to a global audience.
I am now an international artist with experience in performing for large audiences and on big stages, but my dream reaches far beyond my own success. I yearn to see more Kenyan artists standing tall on global platforms, with knowledge and different musical skills. And to make this dream a reality, a musical hub in Nakuru will play a pivotal role—a haven of learning and empowerment.
In harmony, we shall rise, building a legacy that transcends borders and unites souls. Together, we will write a new symphony, and through music’s universal language, we shall share love, culture, and the essence of our beautiful musical spirit with the world.
