We are happy to introduce to you our second edition of the annual Gospel music Festival called the International Mziki Gospel Festival scheduled to take place in Kenya during the dates 24.7.2024 – 2.8.2024. We have lined up a number of International Gospel music directors who will be leading the workshops and mass choir rehearsals. These include; Hans Christian – Denmark, Jonas Engström– Sweden, Calvin Bridges – USA, Joakim Arenius – Sweden, and Fred Lewin – France among many others. Equally, we will also be having some of the best Kenyan choir directors to be able to give you a special experience of African music. We shall also be having hundreds of African singers participating. We therefore invite all the Gospel music lovers from Europe, USA, Japan and beyond to join this
unique Gospel music Festival tour to Africa. Unlike the other Festivals, we give you an extraordinary opportunity to travel to Africa both for Gospel Music, experience the rich African music and other adventure activities. During the Festival, we also arrange for the non-singers itinerary, this is a special programme for those who do not wish to join the music activities but would like to participate in the Festival. We, therefore, invite you to bring your friends and family members wishing to accompany the singers, or simply those who’d wish to join but they are not singers. The Festival will take place in
Nairobi, Nakuru and Maasai Mara.

EXTRA OPTIONAL PACKAGE; ADVENTUROUS SAFARI AT MAASAI MARA NATIONAL PARK
29 TH JULY – 2 ND AUGUST 2024 (Cost; 850€)

29.7Travel to Hell’s Gate National Park in Naivasha (About 80kms from Nakuru); activities would include; swimming in the Largest Natural
spa in East and Central Africa, biking Safari in a National park and able to see wild animals like Buffalos, Baboons, Antelopes, Zebras,
Giraffes, Impalas e.t.c. spectacular scenery including towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub-clad volcanoes
among other things. The place doesn’t host dangerous animals, thus making cycling and walking extremely excellent activities.
30.7Rift Valley Adventure Day; Safari at Lake Nakuru National Park; Head out in the morning for a spectacular Safari/Game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. Start off at the gates of the world’s famous Lake Nakuru National Safari Park in search of a vast array of animals. It features about 550 different plant species, a picturesque landscape, a variety of wildlife species, hills, a Lake itself and waterfalls. WHAT MIGHT YOU SEE? Lake Nakuru National Park is famous for being home to lion, giraffe, zebra, flamingo, gazelle, waterbuck, buffalo, white rhino, baboon, leopard and 300 species of bird. 
After the Safari at Lake Nakuru National Park, we’ll have an early dinner and go for an early rest at night. This is because we’ll have an early morning start of the day the following day.
31.7The Safari to the famous game reserve (Masai Mara National Reserve) will start very early in the morning from 04.00am. We need to make it early enough so that we have enough time for the Safari. We may stop at some points for photos and to enjoy some amazing views of beautiful landscapes. Arrive at Maasai Mara in the morning, check-in, at different lodges and proceed to have a game drive for the whole day. The whole day game drive allows spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the Big cats such as Lion, Leopard and Cheetah to Rhino, Elephants, wildebeest and many others.
Return in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at the lodge. If we have a good weather, we might have a bush dinner.
1.8At the break of dawn, you embark on a visit to Maasai village, experiencing the rich Maasai Culture, their traditional way of life and
interacting with Maasai people, followed by an onward departure this time round to Nairobi by road. Arrive Nairobi later in the afternoon and drop off at the hotel where you’ll spend the night.

EXTRA ITINERARY

If by any chance you would want to stay a bit longer while in Kenya, and need to have some sort of extra itinerary for few more days. Please let us know and we will customize something. For instance, we will customize a relaxing vacation in the famous Mombasa city which is located in Coastal Kenya. The city hosts the eminent Indian Ocean and is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Africa. It is attractive particularly because of the warm weather and its amazing beaches, beautiful landscape and breathtaking ocean views; especially in the evenings. During the visit, you can enjoy nice walks on the beach, swimming in the ocean, boat riding, fishing, shopping and much more. You will be spending the nights in beautiful lodges within walking distance of the beach. Alternatively, if you want to visit Mombasa instead of Maasai Mara as an extra optional package, then we have this customized already. Please inform us by sending us an email or indicate this while filling in the registration form.

Attend the welcome reception. Visit the Giraffe center in Nairobi, have a very close
interaction with giraffes, feed them and take photos. Afternoon City tour within Nairobi city, different viewpoints in the city & attend the concert in the evening.
26.7A visit to the Elephant orphanage in Nairobi.
Driving to Nakuru. Attend the African
Gospel music Concert later in the evening.
An amazing fun tour in Nairobi that also gives one truly heart touching memories. The Elephant nursery is usually opened to the public for 1hr every day. Spend an
hour viewing the baby elephants as they are fed and play with each other, in an open exhibition ground where visitors are allowed to watch and take photos.
Driving to Nakuru, and later on attend the African evening Gospel concert in Nakuru.
27.7A trip to Elementaita to enjoy the outstanding scenic beauty of Soysambu Conservancy while experiencing a Game drive.Spectacular viewing of scenery, birdlife, wildlife and the stunning of Lake Elementaita are part of the Kenya Lakes system world heritage site. Not only will you encounter wildlife but you will also see the geologic wonder of the great rift valley.
Some of the wildlife you may see during daytime drives include; Burchells zebra, Rothschilds giraffe, cape buffalo, Eland, Waterbuck, Thompson’s gazelle, Grants gazelle, Impala, Baboon, Vervet monkeys, colobus monkeys, striped and spotted hyena, jackals, Leopard and Lion. Soysambu Conservancy is the only Park in Kenya where wildlife freely coexists with the Community livestock.
The package includes the entry fees to the Park and game drive in small vans. However, those who want to experience Horse riding, camel treks and motorcycle safari can pay for that separately at the Park.
Attend the Gospel evening Concert later in the day.
28.7Visit to the Thompson Falls – Nyahururu.
Attend the afternoon Mziki Gospel Festival;
Gala Concert
Visit The Thompson Falls; One of the main National waterfalls in Kenya, the only waterfall that is closest to the equator in the world and stands at 2360m in
elevation with lots of African craft shops around. This is approximately 65kms from Nakuru. On the way, you will stop at an excellent view point for photo taking; with
beautiful landscapes and scenic aerial view of the Great Rift valley. On the way, you will also have a stop over at an equator point. Everyone will attend the Gala concert scheduled for 28.7
in the afternoon.
29.7DepartureDeparture to Maasai Mara with other participants that will participate in the second part of the Festival; and to Nairobi for those that will be flying back.

REGISTRATIONS

For registrations as a group or choir, your leader should send an email to us through director@mzikitours.eu or mzikitours@gmail.com with the subject “Registration for International Mziki Gospel Festival. Those registering as individuals should also send an email with the same subject. We will respond to your email by sending you registration forms and link which you will then fill either as an individual or as a group. We have different forms for individuals and groups.
When filling the form as a group, please indicate the total number of your members and also, inform us how many of your members will participate in the extra optional package.


ACQUAINTANCES, FRIENDS OR FAMILY MEMBERS
If your friends, acquaintances or family members who are not part of the singers would like to come along, this is very possible as we will be so pleased and will have a special programme for them. However, their registration price is slightly higher than that of singers. With this, they will have
access to the main events and concerts for free while during the workshops and mass choir singing, we shall arrange different site seeing and adventure programmes for them. Please let us know about this while feeling the registration form. So Please invite as many singers and friends/family as
possible.


SONGBOOK
The Festival songbook will be available for everyone for free. We will send you the soft copy 3 months before the Festival and we shall also provide you with the hard copy on arrival to Kenya. The book will contain all the songs to be sung in the Mass choir and during the Festival Gala Concert.


CHOIR DIRECTORS AND WORKSHOP LEADERS
We have put together a great team of International Choir directors from Europe, Kenya and beyond. We will be working with very experienced, exposed and professional Gospel music directors. The team will be led by Hans Christian, a re-known Gospel music director from Europe. We shall be letting you know the names of those others soon. We therefore ask you to prepare yourselves for very electrifying musical experiences.


T-SHIRTS

We shall provide each participant with Festival T-shirts for free, these could be worn anytime during the Festival. However, we shall request that everyone puts it on at least during the Mass choir singing. After making the registrations, we shall ask you to send us your T-shirt sizes. The T-shirts will be collected on arrival together with printed songbook.


CANCELLATIONS IF ANY
Registration for International Gospel Music Festival – Africa is binding. However, in case of any cancellations or withdrawals due to personal reasons, the following cancellation fees will be charged: 30% of the total cost if cancellation is done 3 months to time, 50% of the total cost if cancellation is done 2 months to time, 80% of the total cost if cancellation is done 1 month to time and 100% if cancellation is done 1 week to time. Alternatively, you can also get a replacement
participant if possible. Please let us know early enough by sending us an email in case there’s need for this.

ACCOMMODATION, MEALS AND LOCAL TRANSPORT
We have organized and planned everything just to make sure that you have a smooth, adventurous, musical, refreshing and stress-free trip while in Kenya. You only have to pay for the registration fees and all the rest shall be taken care of. Once you arrive at the Airport in Nairobi, you don’t have to
worry about anything as all the rest shall be on us. Our teams shall pick you up right from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi and drive you to the hotel. The registration fee includes all the accommodation, meals and local transport costs. This includes the airport transfers too. We shall have hotel accommodation in twin rooms and 3 meals each day. (Usually in English buffet style). However, if you need to have a single room, triple room or family rooms please let us know in
advance. The price shall remain unchanged except for the single room.
